Aria" is an Italian word meaning "air" - it is frequently used as a musical term in English as well as in Italian. An aria is melody for a solo voice in an opera, usually with orchestral accompaniment. Famous arias include 'O mio babbino caro' and 'Nessun dorma' by Puccini and 'La donna 猫 mobile' by Verdi.

I think Melody is the prettiest :)|||That really depends on the type of music you're talking about. Classical music has a number of great ones, like Symphony, Allegra, Lyra, Viola, and Forte. A bit out of the ordinary, but not so strange that they're going to be ruthlessly picked on in grade school. That happened to a kid in my neighborhood. His mother decided to name him Ocean. It's not a bad name, but MAN do the school kids love to make fun of him, mostly throwing water on him. You really do have to be a bit cautious about these sorts of names.|||Melody, Harmony
